Madhuri, who made her acting debut in Bollywood, surprised everyone by making an arranged marriage to Dr. Shri Ram Nene from America. After the marriage, she left Bollywood and moved to the United States. Due to which the hearts of his fans were broken. Madhuri Dixit had said in an interview that when she married Dr. Nene, she had no idea of his stardom. Even during the marriage, Dr. Nene could not recognize anyone other than Amitabh Bachchan.
Madhuri Dixit and Shriram Nene were married on October 17, 1999. Simi Garewal interviewed her after a few years of marriage, in which Madhuri recounted many shocking things related to her marriage. In this interview, Madhuri said that when she met Dr. Nene at her brother’s house, she had no idea of his popularity. I hadn’t seen many Bollywood movies. Madhuri laughed and told me that once I tried to show her the song from my movie, she said “Let’s go out … can’t we do anything else?”
Speaking of her marriage, Madhuri Dixit said that Shri Ram Nene could only recognize Amitabh Bachchan at the time of marriage. He said “I think he only recognized Amitabh Bachchan. Because when he was in school, he had seen his movie Amar Akbar Anthony.” After seeing Amitabh, he said, “I think I know this face.” I said, “Yeah, you know him from that movie.”
Madhuri Dixit last month And Shri Ram celebrated her 22nd wedding anniversary. On this occasion, Madhuri Dixit posted a video on her Instagram account. In which many photographs of her marriage to Dr. Shriram Nene were included. While sharing this video, she wrote “22 Magical Years of Marriage”.
