Madhuri Dixit Remembers Late Dharmendra, Calls Him ‘Amazing’ & Shares Favorite Song

Madhuri Dixit recently offered a heartfelt appreciation for veteran actor Dharmendra in an interview with news agency ANI. The celebrated actress praised Dharmendra’s professional talent and personal character.

Dixit described him as an “amazing actor” and an “even better person.” She reflected on her experience working alongside him.

The two shared screen space in the 1995 film “Paapi Devta.”

Dixit recalled multiple encounters with Dharmendra over the years. She noted he always greeted her “with warmth” and possessed an extremely “down to earth” nature. She also complimented his iconic handsomeness during his prime.

Her favorite Dharmendra song is “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas Tum Rehti Ho.” The classic track is from the 1973 film “Blackmail.”

Dixit feels the song perfectly encapsulates Dharmendra’s persona.

She also highlighted his versatility, citing his sweet comedic performance in “Chupke Chupke.” Dixit specifically recalled the memorable “Chakki Pising” scene from “Sholay,” stating he was “amazing” in that role as well.
