While worldwide all eyes are on the possible bankruptcy of China and an approaching housing crisis that could affect the entire world, it is also good to keep an eye on our little frog country and not lose sight of it. Statistics Netherlands published a positive figure on economic growth this week. The economy grew by no less than 2.6% in the second quarter of this year. That still looks rosy. But of course we cannot conclude anything based on economic growth alone. Looking at different datasets, things are not at all as rosy as this figure suggests.
