Macron warns European allies: Putin is a predator, don’t trust him.

มาครงเตือนพันธมิตรยุโรปอย่าไว้ใจปูติน เรียก "ยักษ์ร้ายหน้าประตูเมือง"

French President Emmanuel Macron has issued a sharp warning to European allies. He urged them not to trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, describing him as “a monster at our gates.” His strong words come as leaders prepare for a peace summit.

Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are getting ready for these high-level talks. This follows quick discussions held on Monday, which involved Donald Trump and several European leaders. Those talks mainly focused on how to guarantee long-term security for Ukraine.

Speaking to LCI television, Macron was clear. He stated that Putin “almost never keeps his promises.” Macron added, “He has always been a force for chaos. He tries to redraw borders to gain more power.”

Macron expressed doubt that Russia would “return to peace and democracy overnight.” He believes Putin “needs to keep eating,” even for his own survival. “That means he is a predator, a monster at our gates,” Macron explained.

Macron clarified that this does not mean France expects an attack tomorrow. However, he stressed, “This is certainly a threat to Europe.” He concluded with a plea for realism: “Let’s not be naive.”
