Confrontation Turns on the Assailant
A 38-year-old man with multiple criminal offenses encountered an unexpected turn of events when he attempted to burglarize a residence in Paysandu. On Sunday night, the man entered the property with the intention of stealing from a vehicle. However, he was caught by two individuals, who chased him down.

The would-be thief sought refuge in a nearby business establishment but was cornered by his pursuers. In an ironic twist, the attackers used a machete and an iron rod to assault their would-be victim. The situation culminated in the man being seriously injured, necessitating medical attention.
