Celebrities rarely offer glimpses into their everyday lives. That’s why fans noticed when Macaulay Culkin and Seth Green were seen enjoying a casual Sunday outing. The longtime friends were spotted at a farmers market on July 13, surrounded by colorful flowers.
Culkin, who is 44, and Green, 51, both dressed comfortably for their day out. They wore white T-shirts. Culkin finished his look with a straw hat and bright pink Crocs. Green sported a gray beard, which made him look quite different. Culkin’s fiancée, Brenda Song, and their children also seemed to be part of the family-friendly excursion.
This wasn’t the first time Culkin and Green shared the screen. They worked together on the 2003 film Party Monster. More recently, they starred in the 2019 movie Changeland. Green not only acted in Changeland, but he also directed and co-wrote it.

Green spoke to CBS News in 2019 about what inspired Changeland. He shared that the idea came from a trip he took.
"I traveled to Thailand with my real friend Dan," Green explained. "Everywhere we went, people thought we were on our honeymoon." He added that all their experiences were beautiful. They felt almost unreal.
Green continued, saying he kept thinking it would be a perfect background for a film. "In my mind, it felt like Sideways or Garden State." During his vacation, he met many interesting people. They came from different parts of the world, all looking for similar experiences.
Green also commented on Culkin’s character in the movie. He noted how different it was from the actor himself.
"That character is nothing like him," Green said. The only similarity, he pointed out, was that the character had figured out what he wanted from life. "Mac is truly one of the most complete and well-adjusted people I’ve ever known." Green mentioned they have been friends for over 20 years. When he thought up the character, it was meant to show someone who had left everything behind. This person went off on their own to decide their path. Green firmly believed, "Nobody could do that better than Mac."

A Look at Culkin’s Life Today
Culkin is known for keeping his personal life very private. However, in recent years, he has shared more. This is especially true since he and Brenda Song welcomed their two children. Song also had a part in the film Changeland.
Song recently celebrated their eighth anniversary on Instagram, on June 17, 2025. Her message was full of warmth. "8 years and still no one makes me laugh or smile like you," she wrote. "No one makes me feel more seen, heard or loved." She called him her "partner in crime," "adventure buddy," and "best friend." Song added that being loved by him was the "greatest privilege." She ended her post, "Happy Anniversary. I love you."
The couple first met while filming Changeland in 2017. Romance rumors began after they were seen holding hands. This happened during an outing at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Culkin proposed to Song in late 2021.
