The concert by the pioneer of the genre, entitled “End of History”, will be presented at the Gran Arena del Cibao on July 29, and comes just when the octogenarian musician and singer has received “El Gran Soberano”, the highest award given by Dominican artistic criticism to the trajectory of an artist in the country.

He was also awarded a Soberano Award for the song “Las de Juan Luis”, with the collaboration of Juan Luis Guerra, and a Latin Grammy Award nomination for his album “El Papá de la Bachata, su Legado”, for which it had the collaboration of forty other outstanding artists of different genres, generations and nationalities.
