Megan Walerius, known to fans as "Sparkle Megan," made a significant impression during Season 9 of Love Is Blind. Her vibrant persona and stated affinity for travel and all things "brilliant" immediately set her apart. Walerius, 35, entered the pods as an entrepreneur, having launched multiple wellness ventures.
However, this glittering lifestyle became a point of contention with her eventual fiancé, Jordan Keltner. Keltner, 30, described himself as "a normal guy," highlighting a fundamental difference that ultimately led to the couple calling off their engagement just before the wedding day.
Walerius articulated her feelings to Keltner during the Season 9 finale, which aired on October 22. She stated, "I feel like we’re like ships in the night, like two different people. You’re very simple, you do the same thing every day and you eat the same thing, all of that. You’re a picky eater, I’m an adventurous eater."
She further explained her desire for a partner who would actively participate in her adventures. Walerius noted that while Jordan encouraged her, she wanted a spouse to share these experiences. "I’ve been doing all those things by myself for the last four years, and I want to do them with a partner," she said. Concerns also arose regarding her potential role as a stepmother to Keltner’s 5-year-old son, Luca, a new experience for her.
The cancellation of their engagement, driven by Walerius’s pursuit of a globetrotting partner, sparked considerable discussion among fans. Social media users on X were quick to offer their opinions.
One user commented, "Megan on ‘Love is Blind’ is so rich she fought with Jordan for being quiet and not spontaneous enough. She literally forgot people get tired after work and can’t play tennis in the middle of the day." Another added, "Wow! I had high hopes for Megan and Jordan. Turns out [she] is much more materialistic than she let on."
Walerius’s professional background provides context for her lifestyle and expectations. Her LinkedIn profile reveals she is the founder of two wellness companies. She established Virage in 2021, aiming to offer "personalized guidance and support to individuals and organizations" to help them achieve optimal physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Two years later, Walerius launched Veyda, a luxury membership-based health club located in Beverly Hills, California. She holds multiple roles at Veyda, including founder, president, advisor, and investor.

Before venturing into the wellness sector, Walerius built a successful career in the oil and gas industry. She served as the communications director at Felix Energy in Denver. According to her professional website, this experience provided her with entrepreneurial insight while also demonstrating the impact a demanding lifestyle can have on health. This realization inspired her career change, leading her to dedicate the last five years to creating brands and experiences that empower others to live healthier, more balanced lives.
Walerius ultimately ended her engagement with Keltner shortly before their planned wedding. She expressed her reservations to him, stating, "I still have my reservations, and I shouldn’t feel that way before my wedding." She apologized for not showing more compassion or understanding but affirmed she could not go through with the marriage.
Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix. The Season 9 cast reunion is scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 29, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
