Loto: a jackpot of 25 million euros put into play this Wednesday, September 8, a first since 1976

Never seen. For the first time since the creation of the lotto in 1976, 25 million euros will be put into play in the draw on Wednesday, September 8, no player having managed to find the perfect grid on Monday evening.

The September 8 lottery draw is all the more special in that it is organized as part of the Heritage Mission. Indeed, 54 cents of each grid purchased at the price of 2.20 euros will be donated to the Heritage Foundation.

As a reminder, the lottery jackpot automatically increases by 1 million euros, as soon as all the winning numbers and the lucky number are not found by at least one player. The current series now brings the number of consecutive draws without a winner to twelve.

To date, the biggest jackpot in history was won on June 6, 2011 by a player from Sarcelles, with a gain of 24 million euros. He had benefited from eleven consecutive draws without a winner.
