LOS Director of Operations Buzz on Missing R6 Franchise: Frustration and Adaptation Ahead

The international Rainbow Six Siege tournament, RE:L0:AD (RELOAD), kicked off last Saturday, featuring four Brazilian teams franchised by Ubisoft. Notably absent from the roster was LOS, a team with a rich history in the game, including a Major win in 2021 and a runner-up finish in 2023. In an exclusive interview with Pichau Arena, Bruno “Buzz” Rodrigues, LOS’s Director of Operations, shared the team’s disappointment at being left out of the franchised teams.

Frustration and Disappointment

Bruno described the feeling as “immense frustration.” He explained that LOS had invested heavily in Rainbow Six, developing their staff and players, and overcoming numerous obstacles along the way. Despite their efforts, the team’s exclusion from the franchised teams made it seem like their hard work didn’t matter.

Moving Forward

Despite the setback, LOS has qualified for the South America League 2025 through the qualifier. Bruno acknowledged that missing out on the franchise deal has had a negative impact on the organization. The team had made long-term plans and investments, which were suddenly disrupted. As a result, they need to reassess their next steps and adapt to the new situation.

The South America League 2025 – Stage 1 is set to begin on June 7, bringing together top teams from Latin America to compete for a spot in the Six Invitational, the world’s premier Rainbow Six Siege tournament.
