LOS Coach Confirms Team Assembled to Win Ascension in VALORANT Champions Tour

LOS’s VALORANT team dominated the VALORANT Challengers Brasil – Etapa 1 (VCB), the country’s top national championship.

The Road to Victory

The team’s journey wasn’t smooth sailing. They struggled at the start, finishing with a 1/2 record in the first three rounds. Coach Pedro “Koy” Pulig revealed that the team’s initial lineup wasn’t expected to be the same by the tournament’s end.

The team’s fortunes changed dramatically after the initial struggles. They won all their subsequent matches, culminating in a 3-1 victory over Stellae Gaming in the grand final on April 16. Koy attributed their success to the lessons learned from their early mistakes. The team improved significantly, refining their gameplay, mental approach, and strategies.

Koy took to X on April 17 to express his pride in the team’s achievement, saying, “Champions of split 1 of VCB, 33% of our goal, we trained absurdly…”. The post reflected the team’s hard work and dedication.

Building a Winning Team

When asked if the team was assembled with the Ascension tournament in mind, Koy confirmed that the team’s roster was designed to succeed in Ascension. The team is aware of their potential but remains grounded. Koy emphasized that their focus is on the next Split, where they’ll reset and strive to improve further. The ultimate goal is to secure a spot in the franchise league. The LOS organization celebrated their victory on X, posting a message that read “SHE’S HERE 🧡🖤” along with a photo of the team.
