Los Angeles Dodgers will have five representatives in the All-Star Game, including three starters

There are few things more American than Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game.

Freeman is the third Dodgers first baseman to start in an All-Star Game, joining Steve Garvey and Gil Hodges. Garvey came through fan voting between 1974 and 1980.

Martinez is the second Dodgers player to start an All-Star Game as a designated hitter.. Although when Max Muncy he did it in 2021, the fans had not yet voted for that position on the National League team.
