Unicaja has announced the renewal of Melvin Ejim. The Canadian forward will continue to defend the colors of the green team until 2024 with the option of one more season.

Versatile, capable of being important to Unicaja’s game structure with prominence or from the darkest job, as well as being a very important piece in the dressing room. He is currently in his second spell at Unicaja, after being in the 2019-20 season, and his knowledge of the club and the city was crucial for the adaptation of the new signings last summer”.
Melvin Ejim is one of the three players from the Malaga squad that has played in all 44 official matches that the team has played this season, dispelling any doubts that there could be about his physical problems, in which he has had numbers of 4.4 points, 3 rebounds and a PIR of 5.4. A player who stands out more in the other basketball and the quartermaster, due to his ability to defend different pairs and to raise the physical level of the matches. He is the first interior that sees his continuity confirmed. He won’t be the last.
