López-Arostegui: “We need some time to play better as a team”

Rival: “He has a balance of (5-1) and is tied with the first in the classification. It’s going to be a tough game on a physical level. They have very good defensive players, very good scorers and very physical players in the inside game. It is an important challenge for the team after having beaten teams from the top of the Euroleague in difficult fields, to play in La Fonteta against leading teams. We have to keep improving, compete better. Monaco is a perfect rival who is going to demand a lot from us”.

The moment of the rival is not surprising: “Monaco already showed the team they were last year, it’s no wonder where they are. Mike James is differential, he has a lot of talent. It is a very competitive team. On a physical level they are very powerful and set a high pace”.

Win two games in a row: “It’s a positive thing. Last week was a difficult week. Winning Olympiacos in Piraeus without a brilliant basketball gives more value to the victory. Good teams win when they don’t play well. We know how difficult it is to win in Lugo because they push hard. Things are being done well and the results are coming. We are calm and taking hold of our work”.

Staff: “I’m trying to help the team as much as I can but I can still be better. I’ve been with the team for a month and a half but that’s not a long time. As a team we still need some time to get to know each other well and play a little better. I want to contribute more things, feel more involved in the game and try to contribute as much as possible. Always available to the team.”
