Fabio Di Giannantonio lives his own Christmas nightmare. The Italian rider, who will debut next 2022 in MotoGP, has communicated through his social networks the theft of several of his training bikes. With several photos on Instagram of the missing models, the new Ducati rider asked his fans for help and, in case they saw any of those motorcycles, they would notify them immediately with the intention of recovering them as much as possible.
“Hello everyone, my garage has been opened. If you see helmets or my motorcycles anywhere, they are things that have been stolen from me. Please, if they are found, let me know immediately “, the Italian shared on his social networks with the slightest hope of being able to recover any of the pieces. Among the stolen motorcycles, Di Giannantonio explains that it is a Yamaha with which he trained motocross, a ‘pit bike’ and a third model with which, in fact, the Italian participated in the last tournament that was held at Valentino Rossi’s ranch, the 100km of the Champions. All decorated with his number, the ’21’, which he will have to change for the ’49’ with his MotoGP debut (his old number is occupied by Franco Morbidelli).
Di Giannantonio will therefore be one of the rookies of this next 2022. And, also, another Italian who will occupy one of the eight Ducati that the brand will put on the MotoGP starting grid. At 23 years old, He will make the leap to the top flight of the World Championship with Gresini Racing after winning three races and adding 22 podiums throughout his sporting career. Fabio will accompany Enea Bastianini in the new independent structure of the Borgo Panigale factory. In this way, Gresini ends his journey with Aprilia, beginning a very promising new chapter in its history.
