LoL’s Jhin Gets Fan-Made Batman Arkham-Style Game Demo

A fan-made video game concept, blending the combat style of Batman Arkham with the iconic League of Legends character Jhin, has ignited widespread excitement within the global gaming community, showcasing the potential for cross-franchise innovation.

YouTube user Hassan Adham developed the project, titled "The Virtuoso," utilizing Unreal Engine technology. A video demonstrating the concept has garnered significant attention online.

The footage showcases Jhin in action, faithfully employing his signature abilities from League of Legends. This includes his hand cannon, where the fourth shot delivers the most significant impact.

The project also depicts Jhin utilizing his "Dancing Grenade" ability, a magical cartridge that can strike up to four enemies. The gameplay maintains the character’s long-range combat advantages.

A loading screen tip within the demo reinforces this playstyle, advising players, "You are fragile up close. Keep your distance, maintain control." Melee combat is present, but this guidance aligns with Jhin’s established identity as a marksman.

Adham’s demonstration features three distinct environments. These include "The Bridge," where Jhin confronts enforcers on Piltover’s Iron Bridge, and "The Grand Theatre," depicting a duel against the character Camille on a theatre stage.

Another setting, "Temple of Whispers," places Jhin in an Ionian temple where unseen enemies lurk. These locations are drawn from the established lore of League of Legends.

The fan-made creation has sparked considerable discussion within the MOBA community. Many comments express admiration for the project’s quality and vision.

Some enthusiasts voiced wishes that Riot Forge, a Riot Games studio dedicated to creating diverse games within the Runeterra universe, had continued operations. Riot Forge was closed in 2024.

The project is a non-profit fan creation and is not available for public download.
