South Korean esports powerhouse T1 has secured a record fourth consecutive appearance in the League of Legends World Championship Grand Final, setting the stage for a historic pursuit of their third straight title against an undefeated KT Rolster.

T1 dominated Top Esports (TES) with a decisive 3-0 victory in the semifinals, ensuring their spot in the global championship match. The win on Sunday showcased the team’s continued top-tier performance.

Led by star player Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, T1’s consistent presence in the final underscores their enduring dominance in competitive League of Legends. Their journey through the tournament has kept fans on edge.

Their opponents, KT Rolster, enter the grand final with an unblemished record, having not lost a single game throughout the entire Worlds 2025 championship. KT Rolster secured their final berth by defeating Gen.G 3-1.

A victory for T1 would mark an unprecedented third consecutive world championship, solidifying their legacy further. This monumental best-of-five series pits reigning champions against an undefeated challenger.

T1 previously claimed the Worlds titles in 2023 against Weibo Gaming and in 2024 against Bilibili Gaming. Their only loss in a recent final was in 2022 to DRX.
