The penultimate week of the Circuito Desafiante, also known as Circuitão, a League of Legends (LoL) championship, kicked off on Monday, May 5, 2025. The matches featured Stellae Gaming (STE) vs. Ilha das Lendas (IDL) and RATZ vs. Flamengo Esports (FLA).
STE vs. IDL: A Dominant Performance
IDL took the first match in 28 minutes, with over 10,000 gold advantage. STE tried to bounce back in the second match but couldn’t keep up. IDL ultimately won the series.
Stellae Gaming’s Twitter post summed up their feelings after the loss: “This time the win didn’t come, but each match is a chance to learn and grow.” They thanked their fans for their support, stating, “We didn’t win, but we won’t give up.”
RATZ Takes Down FLA in a Thrilling Match
The match between RATZ and Flamengo Esports was neck and neck, going all the way to the third game. RATZ dominated the first match, while FLA fought back to win the second match, which lasted nearly 48 minutes.
The deciding match was intense, with both teams keeping a close gold difference until the 30-minute mark. RATZ ultimately emerged victorious, winning the match in 39 minutes.
With this win, RATZ and their team leader, Luciano “Drakehero” Junior, sit at 2-5 in the championship. Unfortunately, they’re out of contention for the top spot due to the tiebreaker criteria, trailing behind sixth-placed Corinthians Esports (SCCP).
