Veteran League of Legends player Thiago “tinowns” Sartori is reportedly set to rejoin paiN Gaming for the 2026 season, marking a significant return to his former championship-winning team after a brief career hiatus.
Information obtained by Sheep Esports and reported last Saturday indicates that Sartori has reached a verbal agreement with paiN Gaming. This move would see the prominent mid laner return to an organization he previously represented from October 2017 to December 2021.
During his prior tenure with paiN Gaming, Sartori achieved notable success, including winning the CBLOL 2021 Split 1. He secured this title alongside teammates Leonardo “Robo” Souza, Marcos “Cariok” Oliveira, Felipe “brTT” Gonçalves, and Han “Luci” Chang-hoon, defeating Vorax 3-1 in the best-of-five final.
Sartori had announced a temporary pause in his 12-year competitive career in June 2025, following his departure from LOUD, where he played from December 2021.
Rumors of the player’s potential return to competitive play first surfaced on October 21, 2025, with clubs like FURIA, paiN, and LOUD mentioned as possible destinations.
He officially confirmed his comeback on October 31, 2025, via a post on X (formerly Twitter). Sartori stated, “I’m not coming back to live in the past, I’m coming back to show that I still have what it takes to be among the best. Thank you all for the constant support, I love you. See you in CBLOL 2026.”
Throughout his career, Sartori has played for several teams, including IDL, CNB, LOUD, and paiN Gaming.
