The action was hot and heavy this week in the Challenger Circuit, where League of Legends teams battled for their tournament lives. The stakes were high in the lower bracket playoffs. Two teams faced elimination. Two others moved on, keeping their hopes alive for the championship title.
Monday brought a tough match between IDL and Corinthians e-sports. IDL proved to be too strong that day. They took the best-of-five series with a clear 3-1 victory. This loss meant the end of the road for Corinthians e-sports, leaving them out of the competition.
Tuesday saw another intense showdown for survival. E-champ Gaming and Flamengo Redragon squared off. Flamengo Redragon pulled off an amazing comeback, winning the series 3-2. This dramatic finish sent E-champ Gaming home, while Flamengo Redragon moved forward. So, Corinthians e-sports and E-champ Gaming are now out. IDL and Flamengo Redragon continue in the running.
