Competitive gaming is tough business. Teams often face brutal schedules. The RED Canids esports team recently finished a wild stretch of games. They played three intense Best-of-Five series in just three days. This run led them right into the LTA Sul grand final. After losing that final, many wondered if exhaustion played a part.
Felipe “brTT” Gonçalves, a six-time Brazilian champion, has a clear answer. He says tiredness cannot be an excuse for losing. He shared his thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter. For him, blaming fatigue is just “tilt stuff” and makes no sense. He believes it’s better to simply accept defeat.

The RED Canids squad, often called “the pack,” really did have a tough schedule. From Friday (5th) to Sunday (7th), they played 11 games inside Summoner’s Rift. They kicked things off with a strong 3-0 win against LOUD. They followed that up with another 3-0 victory over paiN. However, in the grand final on Sunday, they lost to Keyd Stars, also in a clean 3-0 sweep.
Many fans and observers felt the heavy game schedule hurt RED Canids. They believed the team was too tired to perform at its best. But brTT disagreed sharply with this view. He insisted that the opposing team was just better. He said that using tiredness as an excuse after a 3-0 loss makes no sense.
Here’s what the former pro player had to say:
“Man, it’s frustrating chatter to see staff and others kind of ‘blaming’ performance and defeat on playing three days in a row. Accept the defeat and have faith. What’s the point of constantly saying they were tired? The opposing team was simply better, period. It was a 3-0, man; that’s just not how it works.”
Mano que bagulho tilt ver gente da staff etc colocando meio que “culpa” da performance e derrota na questão de 3 dias seguidos de jogo.
Aceitem a derrota e fé. Qual sentido de ficar falando que estavam cansados??? O time adversário era melhor, ponto. Foi um 3×0 cara, não existe

RED Canids won’t have much time to rest or dwell on the loss. Their next big event is the Cross-Conference LTA 2025 Championship. This tournament will bring together teams from both LTA Sul and LTA Norte. The goal is to grab another spot at the prestigious Worlds 2025. Vivo Keyd Stars and FlyQuest have already secured their places.
