Esports fans, get ready. The second stage of the Circuito Desafiante, also known as “Circuitão,” is back. This League of Legends tournament is a big deal. It started on Monday, August 21, 2025. Our friends at Pichau Arena put together a detailed guide. This tournament is the biggest of its kind for Brazilian LoL teams.
Ten teams are battling it out. They all want the same thing: to reach the finals. Winning the finals means getting a spot in the League of The Américas (LTA Sul) 2026 qualifying tournament. Only the two finalists earn a spot in this important event. The LTA Sul qualifier also includes two teams from Liga Regional Sur. Plus, Isurus, a Riot Games partner team already in LTA, will be there too.

Teams in Circuito Desafiante – Stage 2
Here are the teams competing:
- RED Canids Academy (current champions)
- Keyd Stars Academy
- Alpha7 Esports
- Corinthians Esports
- e-Champ Gaming
- IDL
- LOS
- Rise Gaming
- Stellae Gaming
- Flamengo Esports

Tournament Format
The competition has two main parts: a group stage and playoffs.
Group Stage
- All teams play each other once.
- Matches are “best of one” (MD1), so every game counts.
- The top eight teams from this stage move on to the playoffs.
Playoffs
- Eight teams compete here.
- This uses a double-elimination format. If a team loses two matches, they are out.
- There’s an important rule for academy teams. Teams like RED Canids Academy or Keyd Stars Academy cannot directly join the LTA Sul access tournament. If one of them reaches the finals, their spot goes to the next highest-ranked team that is not an academy team.
The first day’s matchups, starting at 5 PM Brasília time, promise excitement:
- RED vs Keyd
- Rise vs Alpha7
- e-Champ vs Stellae
- Corinthians vs LOS
- IDL vs Flamengo

Prizes and How to Watch
The total prize pool for this competition is R$120,000. The champion team takes home R$36,000, along with one of the two coveted spots in the access tournament. You can catch all the action. The official LTA Sul channels on Twitch and YouTube will broadcast every match. (Source: Liquipedia)
