This Wednesday the Logi Play event took place. This served for Logitech to present some of its new products aimed at the gaming segment. But the highlight is its cloud gaming console.
This is called Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld, and is the result of a partnership between the brand and Tencent. As revealed by the brand, it will cost $350 in the United States. The price for Europe is not yet known.
One looks at this product and immediately thinks that it will be a competitor to the Steam Deck. But since the focus will be on cloud gaming, it won’t be with this console that the Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld intends to compete.

It has a 7-inch IPS screen with support for multi touch. Users can count on a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. To this screen are added, on the front, two analog, a D-Pad and four buttons (A, B, X and Y).
At the bottom of the console you will find a USB-C port that can be used for charging. If you want to use wired headphones for gaming, it also has a 3.5mm jack input.
When we say this isn’t going to compete with the Steam Deck, we’re looking at the features we’re basing it on. It comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor and runs Android 11, with the Google Play Store pre-installed.
It has a 6000 mAh battery, which promises 12 hours of autonomy. Users will be able to expand the console’s storage via a microSD card. In addition to being able to download apps from the Play Store, it has support for Xbox iCloud Gaming and GeForce Now.
Logitech has already announced that the product will be available in the United States from October 18. Although the advertised price is US$349, it is available for presale in the country for US$299.99.
