The build quality of the Logitech Pebble M350 mouse is mediocre, but for the price range I’d dare say I was positively surprised. Make no mistake though, this is a mouse built entirely of plastic, although it is made of good plastic.

Modern design with a focus on portability.

Pebble is a very easy to transport mouse thanks to its slim profile, rounded lines and organic inspiration. The best of all? We can store the USB receiver / adapter, as well as the AA battery, under the top panel of the mouse.

This element is held in place by magnets, keeping the components protected and in a place where we would hardly lose them. At the same time, by adopting this implementation, the entire design benefits from a more robust structure, with fewer moving parts.

The top panel of the mouse is easily removable

Unlike more common implementations where the receiver and battery are accessible through the bottom of the mouse, in the case of the M350, these components are covered by the top cover. Its elimination is manifestly simple.

All you have to do is slightly lift this top, held by the action of three magnets. It is a simple and ingenious system, which allows to maintain a solid structure in the mouse and facilitates the access to these components.

This is a peculiar implementation on this Logitech Pebble M350, but it contributed to the build quality of the product, making it more robust. Also, if you have another unit of this mouse, you can even change the “covers”.

In short, for an affordable or cheap mouse, this M350 has a good build quality, as well as a nifty system to keep the battery and the small USB adapter well tucked away.

Finally, also in case of accidents with liquid spillage on the mouse, drying the product becomes easier since it is possible to remove this top panel. In addition, the lines and the design of the product end up benefiting from this system.

Note also that the mouse has a slight rise, becoming progressively thicker as we walk backwards. Thus, by keeping a slim mouse, it can be minimally comfortable to use during the working day.

Apple Magic Mouse vs Logitech Pebble M350.

In short, unlike Apple’s Magic Mouse, in the Logitech Pebble M350 we have some palm support, which contributed greatly to the user experience.

In other words, no matter how thin the Logitech Pebble M350 is, and it is, we still have something that I wouldn’t dare call ergonomic, but at least there to give the hand some support.

This is particularly important for those who work at the computer for long hours, at home or outside, it is important to have a minimally comfortable product, otherwise you will suffer from wrist and / or tendon pathologies.

The performance was a pleasant surprise, quiet and precise.
