The third match of the five-match Test series will be played between India and England at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Today is the fourth day of this test. The Indian team has almost confirmed its victory in this Test. However, the Rohit brigade will be heavily without Ravichandran Ashwin in the fourth innings.

At the end of the third day’s play, India had scored 196 runs for two wickets in their second innings. This way, Team India’s overall lead, based on the first innings lead, is 322 runs. Shubman Gill plays for 65 runs. Kuldeep Yadav is on three runs with him.

Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to the pavilion after scoring 104 runs in 133 balls with the help of 9 fours and 5 sixes. Jaiswal retired due to back pain. Jaiswal once scored 35 runs off 73 balls but in the last session of the day, he changed his attitude and completed his century with an aggressive knock. However, Rajat Patidar’s bat malfunctioned again. He was heading towards zero.

Thanks to centuries from Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja, the Indian team had scored 445 runs in their first innings. In response, the English team could only score 319 runs in their first innings. Opener Ben Duckett played an innings of 153 runs for England. However, apart from him, no other batsman could stay at the crease for long. In this way, India had gained a lead of 126 runs in the first innings.

It is noteworthy that Team India made a strong comeback on the third day of the Rajkot Test. After scoring 445 runs in the first innings, the Indian bowlers fell short of baseball on the second day. By the end of the second day’s play, England had scored 207 runs after losing two wickets in just 35 overs. However, after that, on the third day, Team India outscored the visiting team by just 319 runs. England scored just 112 runs on the third day and lost their last 8 wickets. Now the Rajkot Test is completely in the hands of Team India.
