Lithgow, Zapata, Bogaert and Vitienes win PQ golf tournament

Willy Lithgow, José Zapata, Louis Bogaert and Rodrigo Vitienes were winners of the PQ Golf Tournament sponsored by the PQ Foundation, held at the links of Romana Country Club, in honor of Kalil Haché.

First place winners in the normal category were also Julio Zeller, John Schmidt, Francisco Caro and Juan Mayol, while Carbuccia, Dietsch, Bobadilla and Tejada took second place.

In the senior category the first place was obtained by Danilo Caro, Andrés Aybar, Papo Blanco and Abel González, while Leonardo Vargas, Pérez Vazquez, Jesús Troncoso and Tony Caro got second place.

The 2021 edition of the traditional tournament, in which 128 players took part, was carried out by allocating the funds raised to the Friends Against Childhood Cancer Foundations, the Santa Rosa Deaf Institute and Happy Marriage.

“We have had a year full of challenges. We wish each one of you a lot of health and well-being in this coming new year and that we continue to move forward with more strength in the face of adversity, ”said Andrés Pichardo, president of Casa de Campo.

Similarly, Raúl Cendoya was the technical director of the tournament, who explained that this time the format was a four-person scramble with a gross and net score, the winner being the one who obtained the best gross score, in addition to two categories. , general and silver with two awards each.

On his side, one of the most memorable moments was the recognition and posthumous tribute to Kalil Haché, which was led by Miguel Roig, who dedicated this edition of the tournament to him. “Don Kalil was a person with an unmatched human capacity, his footprint is huge. For us, this is a special moment of remembrance; Today we take advantage of and pay tribute, remembering him as he was, always contagious with his form ”, said Roig.

Upon receiving the recognition on behalf of the family, Maribel Haché, daughter of the deceased, thanked for the affection and stated that she loved golf, “although I think what she enjoyed the most was the company of her teammates.”
