Lisa Ray Slams Airlines Over.refund Issue

Instead, she’s calling out an airline for its alleged insensitivity. On X, Ray tweeted, “It’s started again,” tagging Air India Airlines in her post. She went on to explain that her 92-year-old father is unwell, and she had to cancel her travel plans due to his illness. Despite submitting a doctor’s letter, the airline refused to provide a refund or waiver, leaving Ray perplexed and frustrated. “How is this possible?” she asked, questioning the airline’s claims of caring for its passengers. “Where is the empathy?”

Airline Officials Respond

As soon as Ray’s post went live, the airline’s officials sprang into action, responding promptly to the actress’s concerns. They assured her that they would look into the matter and offered to help resolve the issue.

Addressing the Actress’s Concerns

In their response, the airline stated, “Dear Lisa Ray, we empathize with your concerns and wish your father a speedy recovery. Please share the email address from which you sent us the letter or provide the case ID (if any), and we will review it.” In a follow-up post, they added, “Please give us some time. We are reviewing the details you provided. We want to address your concerns immediately and would like to speak with you. Could you please share your contact details and a convenient time to talk via DM?”
