The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) announced the reassignment of five games proposed by the rains that have affected the country since the beginning of the 2022-2023 championship dedicated to the memory of communicator Tomás Troncoso Cuesta.
LIDOM reported that match number 13 at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal stadium between Gigantes del Cibao and Tigres del Licey, postponed on October 29, was rescheduled at that same venue for Tuesday, November 22 as part of a nine-inning doubleheader every duel. The first showdown will start at 3:00 p.m. and the second will start at 7:35 p.m.
Game number 8 at the Tetelo Vargas stadium in San Pedro de Macorís between the Toros del Este and Estrellas Orientales, postponed from last November 3, was rescheduled for this coming Sunday, November 27 at 2:00 in the afternoon, also within from a double run to nine innings.
The second game of that day will start at 6:00 pm
Match number 17 at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal stadium between Tigres del Licey and Leones del Esgido, which had been postponed on Thursday, November 3, was rescheduled as part of a doubleheader (nine innings) for Friday, December 2 at the same park from 3:00 in the afternoon.
The game that was originally scheduled for that day, with Licey as the host, will start at 7:15 at night.
LIDOM reported that the schedule for the regular round has been extended one day, so now the conclusion is scheduled for December 17, the date on which the games postponed on November 4 between Toros del Este and Toros del Este were reassigned. Tigres del Licey and Leones del Esgido versus Gigantes del Cibao at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal and Julián Javier stadiums in San Francisco de Macorís, respectively. Both will be staged starting at 5:00 in the afternoon.
