Licey achieves second win with Offerman as pilot, defeats Gigantes

The Tigres del Licey crystallized a cluster of three runs in the seventh inning and Dennicher Carrasco fired a home run from another two laps in the ninth for the Blues to beat the Gigantes del Cibao 8-5, in a match held this Saturday at the stadium Julian Javier.

The Tigers, who have a new manager (José Offerman) since Friday, won their second game in a row and are 8-6, while the Giants are 6-8.

In the game, Emilio Bonifacio went 4-1, but drove in three runs in key moments.
