LG G8 ThinQ is far from the most secure smartphone!

The LG G8 ThinQ is the new flagship of the South Korean company and although it is conquering some users, it continues to show that it should not be a smartphone to take into account.

The well-known Youtuber JerryRigsEverything decided to dismantle the LG G8 and what he found inside is not exactly beneficial (and safe) for any user. By the way, in words, this is a “not recommended to buy” smartphone.

All this because LG decided to stick the battery of the smartphone with permanent adhesive tape. This makes the risk of changing batteries extremely high. A small future in the battery and the smartphone will be on fire. As it is much more difficult to remove the battery with these adhesive tapes, the probability of this happening is high.

From the user’s point of view

Changing the battery of the smartphone is much more complex than another smartphone. This means that LG made a smartphone not to last. That is, with this adhesive repairmen can (and should) refuse to replace it. At certain times when the smartphone is dying, the battery changes and it seems that the device has taken on a new life.

What’s more, Jerry even went so far as to say that this was one of the causes of the Note 7. The explosive Samsung smartphone that was recalled for burning due to battery defects.

We associate other drawbacks to this problem

The LG G8 is even a beautiful smartphone, however, we must admit that it is far from the competition. The smartphone continues with the biometric sensor on the back and no implementation of on-screen technology. And it is still a problem to have an LG terminal with updated software. Worse still, LG is one of the brands that devalues its equipment the most in the market. The smartphone has not even been released in Portugal and has already had a price drop compared to the advertised value.
