Hasan Salihamidžic, the Bavarian team’s sporting director, said on Saturday that the Polish star had turned down the club’s offer to extend his contract, saying “he would like to do something else.” The 33-year-old Lewandowski’s deal covers another season with Bayern, but the player has urged the team to consider any offers that come in the meantime. “Yes, I have another year on my contract,” Lewandowski said after scoring his 35th goal of the season in a 2-2 draw between Bayern and Wolfsburg. “If an offer comes up, we have to think about it, also for the club.
