Lenovo just unveiled two new tablets, the Yoga Tab and the Idea Tab Plus. These devices pack some serious hardware. They aim to deliver top-tier specs without breaking the bank.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab comes with an impressive 11.1-inch LCD screen. It boasts a sharp 3200 x 2000 pixel resolution. The display shows super smooth motion with a 144 Hz refresh rate. That means you get 144 frames per second for fluid visuals. It also gets plenty bright, hitting up to 800 Nits.
This tablet also includes four speakers that support Dolby Atmos sound. It features a high-capacity 8,860 mAh silicon-carbon battery. This special technology helps boost capacity without making the battery itself larger. Plus, it charges quickly with 68W fast charging. The Yoga Tab feels premium with its metal body, weighing in at just 458 grams.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Yoga Tab runs on a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from 2023. This chip is built using 4-nanometer technology. It comes with a smart mix of CPU cores and a strong graphics chip:
- One Cortex-X4 CPU core: Clocked at up to 3.30 GHz for high-performance processing.
- Three Cortex-A720 CPU cores: Running at up to 3.15 GHz for efficient general task processing.
- Two Cortex-A720 CPU cores: Reaching speeds of up to 2.96 GHz.
- Two Cortex-A520 CPU cores: Set at up to 2.27 GHz.
- Adreno 750 graphics chip: Speeds up to 1,000 MHz. It can render game graphics at an impressive 240 frames per second.
This premium chipset works with up to 12 GB of RAM. It also offers 256 GB of storage space.
For snapping photos and video calls, the tablet has a 13-megapixel front camera. The back features a dual camera setup with a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It comes with the Perplexity Pro app for advanced AI models. Many other AI tools are built-in too. You can also connect a 2-in-1 keyboard and use the Lenovo Tab Pen Pro stylus.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab is available in Luna Grey and Seashell colors. It sells for $549.99.
Lenovo Idea Tab Plus: A Strong Alternative
The Lenovo Idea Tab Plus offers slightly different specs but still brings a lot to the table. It has a larger 12.1-inch LCD screen. This display has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It also supports a 90 Hz refresh rate for smooth viewing. Like its sibling, it reaches a peak brightness of 800 Nits.
For cameras, the Idea Tab Plus includes a 13-megapixel camera on the back. The front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is 8-megapixel.
Powering the Idea Tab Plus is a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. This chip is built on 6-nanometer technology. It runs at a maximum speed of 2.5 GHz. It pairs with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Interestingly, the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus features an even bigger battery. It has a 10,200 mAh capacity. This supports 45W charging. It also has Dolby Atmos speakers for great sound. Many AI tools are included, just like the Yoga Tab. It supports the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus stylus as well.
