Brazilian esports teams experienced mixed results at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 as two major contenders were eliminated while one secured advancement to the next stage of the Counter-Strike 2 tournament.
Legacy, a highly anticipated Brazilian squad, was knocked out of the competition after a decisive loss to PARIVISION in a hard-fought series on Thursday, November 27, 2025. The final match against PARIVISION went to overtime on Dust2, with Legacy ultimately falling 19-16.
PARIVISION claimed the first map, Ancient, with a 13-9 score. Legacy then rallied to win Inferno 13-5, forcing the series to the decisive third map.
Legacy expressed gratitude to their supporters following their exit.

Another Brazilian team, Fluxo, also exited the Major. They were eliminated after suffering a defeat at the hands of FaZe earlier on Thursday.
Imperial was the sole Brazilian team to advance from the first phase. They secured their spot in the next stage by defeating NRG.
The teams advancing to the second stage of the StarLadder Budapest Major include FlyQuest and M80, both of whom moved forward without a single series loss. Ninjas in Pyjamas, B8, and fnatic also progressed, each with one defeat. FaZe, Imperial, and PARIVISION advanced with a 3-2 record, meaning three wins and two losses in the initial phase.
