Learn about Mouni Roy’s journey from television to Bollywood

Mouni Roy is also one of them. Mouni rose to fame on television playing the role of Krishna Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Mouni Roy is also a Kathak dancer. He has also been part of the famous Naagin Show. He gained further success in 2011 with the Devon Ke Dev … Mahadev program. Mouni played the role of Sati and also participated in reality shows such as Zara Nachke Dikha, Pati Patni Aur Kaun, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In 2018 he made his Bollywood debut with the film Gold. He has had a special role in the movie KGF: Chapter 1.

The actress ruled the television industry working on the popular family series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The show was produced by Ekta Kapoor and also starred Smriti Irani. The story of this show revolved around an ideal daughter-in-law. Mouni played the role of Krishna Tulsi along with Pulkit Samrat.

The Devon Ke Dev Mahadev show, based on the Hindu god Shiva, turned out to be a blockbuster show of its time. It aired from 2011 to 2014. Mouni was seen playing the role of Sati on the show. His performance was highly appreciated and gained immense popularity.

In 2018, Mouni made her Bollywood debut with the film Gold. The sports drama film was written and directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film is based on the journey of India’s first national hockey team to the 1948 Olympics and stars Akshay Kumar as Tapan Das.

Made in China is a comedy film directed by Mikhil Musale, starring Rajkummar Rao, Mouni Roy, Boman Irani. It traces the story of a Gujarati businessman played by Rao, who travels to China to broaden his business prospects. The film is based on the novel by Parinda Joshi.
