The tech world is buzzing, and Apple is once again at the center. With the official iPhone 17 unveiling just weeks away, a fresh leak gives us a clear look at what’s coming. This kind of pre-launch peek is a staple in the tech cycle, and it often comes from reliable sources.
This time, well-known tipster Evan Blass, famous for his accurate insider information, shared images on X. These pictures show protective cases for all four upcoming iPhone 17 models. They come from Urban Armor Gear (UAG), a brand known for making tough cases. These case designs accidentally spill the beans on Apple’s next smartphone lineup.
The standard iPhone 17 model seems to keep a look similar to the iPhone 16. However, the iPhone 17 Air looks to be a standout. It features a super thin body. It also has a single camera on the back, housed in a large camera bump. This design choice reminds many of Google’s Pixel phones. All cases for the new lineup show cutouts for both the Action button and a new Camera Control button.

Moving to the higher-end models, both the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max feature a redesigned camera area on the back. Just like the Air, their cases also have openings for the Action button and the Camera Control button. This fits perfectly with many earlier rumors and design predictions we’ve seen.

Apple plans to officially reveal all four iPhone 17 models on September 9, 2025. The event will take place at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. It’s happening at the Steve Jobs Theater, located at Apple Park in California, USA, which is Apple’s headquarters.
Beyond the new hardware, Apple also has big software plans for mid-September 2025. They will release stable versions of their latest operating systems. This includes iOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26.
iOS 26 is particularly exciting. It brings the biggest design and feature overhaul seen since iOS 7. This new look is called Liquid Glass. It uses translucent elements that beautifully reflect what’s around them. Apple says this makes content on the screen pop. It should feel more alive and incredibly smooth to use. Plus, it will fully integrate AI into your daily tasks.
