Championship Structure
Play-In Stage
The Worlds tournament kicks off with a crucial Best-of-Five (Bo5) match. It features the fourth seeds from China and South Korea: T1 versus Invictus Gaming (IG). This single game will determine the final 16th team to join the Swiss stage. This high-stakes match takes place this Tuesday, the 14th, at 5 AM (Brasília time). The team that loses this match is immediately eliminated from the competition.
Swiss Stage
Once all teams are confirmed, the main event begins. Matches will be set after the T1 and IG series finishes. Teams will compete in a unique Swiss format. The goal is to reach three wins to advance to the playoffs. However, if a team suffers three losses, they are out of Worlds 2025. Elimination matches within this stage are Best-of-Three (Bo3), ensuring a fair contest. All other games in the Swiss stage are Best-of-One (Bo1).
Playoffs
The top eight teams surviving the Swiss stage move on to the playoffs. This is a single-elimination bracket where teams fight until only one remains. All playoff games are Best-of-Five (Bo5), demanding endurance and strategic depth. The ultimate victor will earn the title of the best LoL team in the world for 2025.

Prize Pool and Broadcast Details
The stakes are incredibly high with a total prize pool of $5 million. This hefty sum will be distributed among all participating teams. The champions, however, will walk away with a significant $1 million share. Fans can catch all the intense action live. The games will be broadcast on the official LTA Sul channel available on Twitch and YouTube.
