Lava Mobiles, an Indian smartphone brand known for its affordable and design-focused devices, has launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Yuva Star 2. This new model boasts a larger 6.75-inch display, dual rear cameras, and a bigger battery, marking an upgrade from its predecessor, the Yuva Star, released in 2024.
The Yuva Star 2 is powered by an 8-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset, clocked at 1.6 GHz, and paired with 4 GB of RAM that can be expanded with an additional 4 GB of virtual RAM. It has 64 GB of internal storage and runs on Android 14 Go Edition, optimized for smoother performance on lower-end hardware.

The phone features an HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) LCD display with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear cameras include a 13-megapixel primary sensor and an AI camera. The device is equipped with a large 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10 W charging and has a sleek, glossy rear design.
Other notable features of the Yuva Star 2 include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and support for Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0.
