Lava Launches Storm Play and Storm Lite with 120Hz Displays

Lava, an Indian smartphone brand, has launched two new 5G smartphones – Storm Play and Storm Lite. These mid-range devices are designed to provide a seamless user experience.

Key Features

The Storm Play is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, which has a maximum clock speed of 2.6 GHz. It comes with 6 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on Android 15 out of the box and is expected to receive one major Android update and two years of security patches.

The Storm Play features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 5,000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging, and IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The device has a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor, along with an 8 MP front camera.

Storm Lite

The Storm Lite, on the other hand, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, which has a maximum clock speed of 2.5 GHz. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. The device also runs on Android 15 out of the box.
