The actor and producer Ismael Almonte together with the actress and director Albania Peña did it again, keeping a captive audience with three monologues that unite “The first but not the last”, starring Yenny Lovera, who returns to the theater after 20 years out of the scene and has generated the surprise of many for its strength on stage; “5 años” with Irina Peguero, who debuts on the stage, but has generated good reviews for her determined and daring performance, and although “Ta’pillao” with the outstanding actress Paula Ferry, does not perform due to a small accident that is already recovering, it is worth noting how once again Paula showed her strength and histrionics.
“The divorced women’s club” narrates the experiences of Virginia, Sandra and Maritza, who decided to divorce and although society did not let them tell their version of events, they had their reasons. They are three long-suffering, empowered and brave women who tell their testimonies so that future generations do not fall for the “hook”, because sometimes divorce is a path to happiness… and they are clear about it.
