The wait is over for Formula 1 fans, as the Las Vegas Grand Prix has officially announced its ticket prices for the 2025 season. With a wide range of options to suit every budget, fans can expect to pay anywhere from $50 for the most affordable tickets to a whopping $25,000 for the ultimate exclusive experience on the Nevada track. According to Emily Prazer, President and CEO of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the decision to revise the pricing strategy was made to make the event “a little more accessible to a broader audience.” By introducing flexible payment plans with no interest, the organizers are adopting a model commonly seen in American sports, where fans can pay for tickets over a period of time.
Prazer took into account the prices from the previous season, which started at $330 and upwards. “We’re committed to ensuring our ticket prices are as low as possible,” she emphasized. By adjusting their pricing model, the organizers are making a concerted effort to attract a wider fan base. As Prazer noted, “I think everyone has seen that we’ve changed our model a bit, bringing the prices closer to the race.” This move is likely to be welcomed by fans who were previously priced out of the event.
While fans can enjoy some of the most affordable tickets of the season, they can also experience one of the most exclusive events in the Formula 1 calendar. The $25,000 ticket option is still available, and the Paddock Club remains a highly sought-after experience. Prazer acknowledged that the event has come a long way since its inception, saying, “We’ve received a lot of feedback, and I think people may forget that when we started, we were a genuine startup. We didn’t have data, and we didn’t necessarily know the people who would be attending.” Despite the challenges, the event has established itself as a premier destination for Formula 1 fans.
Fans will be able to purchase tickets for the event starting April 9, when sales go public. However, flexible payment plans will be available until August 2025, giving fans plenty of time to secure their spot. With the Las Vegas Grand Prix contract set to expire in 2025, many have wondered if the event would continue beyond that point. However, according to Prazer, conversations are already underway to extend the contract.
A contract that doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon
The Las Vegas street circuit will host the 20 fastest drivers in the world from November 20 to 23, 2025, as part of the current contract with Formula 1. While contracts eventually come to an end, Prazer seems confident that the event will continue beyond 2025. “Like everything, contracts come to an end,” she said. “However, with all the different stakeholders in Las Vegas, we’re currently going through a renewal process, so we feel very comfortable that the race will continue. Obviously, everyone is very committed to this.” With the event’s popularity showing no signs of waning, it’s likely that the Las Vegas Grand Prix will remain a staple of the Formula 1 calendar for years to come.
