The legal representation of LaLiga in the case opened for the racist insults to which the Real Madrid striker Vinicius was subjected in the match played in Mestalla last season has sent a letter to the court in which he explains that the visiting defender Eder Militao was also the object of vexatious expressions of a racist nature and asks to be offered to appear in person.
On May 26, the court number 10 of Valencia opened an investigation into the racist insults that Vinicius denounced that he had received a few days before in the Valencia-Real Madrid match of the 2022/23 League and cited as investigated three followers of the Mestalla club who were identified on the one hand by the player himself and on the other by the camera system of the venue. Two of them declared last June and the third did so this Tuesday.
The judge, however, has qualified the lawyers for the parties that her case only investigates what happened in the 72nd minute of the match between Valencia and Real Madrid on May 24 at Mestalla. Thus, the magistrate understands that both the incidents that occurred upon the arrival of the Real Madrid bus and others that may have occurred during the course of the match must be prosecuted in another case.
The League has also requested the Investigating Court number 3 of Palma to offer legal action to Villarreal midfielder Samu Chukwueze for the alleged xenophobic insults he received on his last visit to the Mallorca stadium.
