Lakhnow Super Giants Player Fined Lakhs for Misconduct in IPL 2025 Match

IPL 2025 is off to a wild start. Not even 15 games in, and players are already racking up fines. Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag got slammed with a 12 lakh rupee fine for slow over rates. Now, Lucknow Super Giants’ leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi isn’t in the clear either – he’s been fined 25% of his match fee.

This all went down during the Lucknow Super Giants vs. Punjab Kings match on April 1. Bishnoi took down Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya for 8 runs. After the wicket, Bishnoi made a gesture like Arya was on his hit list. Arya kept it cool and headed back to the pavilion, but Bishnoi’s celebration landed him in hot water.

Social media tore into Bishnoi for his antics. Arya was trying to hit a big shot, but Bishnoi’s quick delivery caught him off guard.

Punjab Kings Bring the Heat

Punjab Kings are looking like one of the strongest teams in IPL 2025 so far. Shreyas Iyer is on fire, with fifties in both matches. He’s racked up 149 runs in just 2 games, including a 52-not-out against Lucknow. Prabhsimran Singh was a no-show in the first match, but he made up for it with a blistering 69 runs off 34 balls against Lucknow.

The whole Punjab Kings bowling squad – Arshdeep Singh, Marco Jansen, Lockie Ferguson, and Marcus Stoinis – is bringing their A-game. And Nehal Wadhera has emerged as a star, smashing 43 runs off 25 balls against Lucknow.

The Punjab Kings are looking fierce, with all their players stepping up to the plate. It’s early days in IPL 2025, but they’re definitely a team to watch.
