Lahore Qalandars Wins PSL 2025 Title, Receives $500,000 Prize Money

Lahore Qalandars made history by winning their third Pakistan Super League title. They defeated Quetta Gladiators in the final. The winning team took home $500,000, which is around 4.26 crore rupees.

Quetta Gladiators got $200,000, around 1.7 crore rupees, for being the runner-up. Lahore’s Kusal Perera was named player of the match. He scored 62 runs in just 31 balls.

The final was exciting. Quetta batted first and scored 201 runs. Hassan Nawaz hit 76 runs. Then Lahore chased the target. They lost their first wicket early, but Muhammad Naim and Abdullah Shafique played well. Kusal Perera then took charge and led his team to victory.

Lahore’s captain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, was emotional after the win. He cried in the stadium, and his teammates comforted him. The team had worked hard to win the title, and it was a big moment for them.
