LABITCONF 2025: CoinEx, ViaBTC Drive Latin America’s Crypto Future

Major cryptocurrency firms are deepening their commitment to Latin America, leveraging key regional conferences to foster community engagement and forge strategic partnerships aimed at broader adoption.

CoinEx, a global crypto exchange, and ViaBTC, a prominent mining pool, recently concluded their successful participation in LABITCONF 2025 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Their joint presence at the November 7-8 conference highlighted a shared goal to advance innovation, education, and accessibility across the region’s burgeoning crypto market.

The firms engaged with partners, developers, and users at their joint stand, which was one of the event’s most visited spaces. These strategic conversations gathered valuable insights into market needs, platform functionality, and product development opportunities.

The interactions led to new alliances in Latin America, particularly with local blockchain projects, fintech solutions, and educational communities. These partnerships are geared towards expanding crypto adoption throughout the region.

Phillip Wang, Business Development Manager at ViaBTC, participated in a panel titled “Decentralization in Mining: Myth, Reality, and Power.” He shared key ideas on the evolution of the mining sector, addressing the balance between decentralization, efficiency, and sustainability.

To engage attendees, CoinEx and ViaBTC hosted a gamified experience at their stand. Inspired by the classic “Flappy Bird” and adapted for Web3, the game required participants to create an account with either firm for a chance to win prizes.

This interactive initiative resulted in the distribution of over 1,300 exclusive prizes. It strengthened the brands’ ties with the local crypto community and reinforced their mission to make blockchain technology accessible and appealing to users of all experience levels.

Before the main conference, on November 5, the companies co-organized an exclusive networking event called “BitFire Night” with ONG Bitcoin Argentina. This gathering brought together influential figures from the Web3 ecosystem.

BitFire Night underscored the belief that community-driven initiatives and collaboration are crucial for the sustainable growth of Latin America’s crypto market.

CoinEx, launched in 2017, operates with a growing presence in Latin America and serves over 10 million users globally. It offers localized initiatives in Spanish and Portuguese, complemented by educational programs like CoinEx Academy.

ViaBTC, founded in 2016, supports more than 20 Proof-of-Work cryptocurrencies and serves over 1.7 million global users. It provides services such as instant payments and collateralized lending for miners.
