The entertainment world rarely sees a moment quite like this. Taylor Swift recently crashed the “New Heights” podcast, creating a frenzy that even the show’s resident record-holder, Kylie Kelce, couldn’t help but celebrate. Kylie, always one to bring a laugh, chatted about it on her own podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” on Thursday, August 14.
Kylie, who is 33, made it clear she was thrilled, even if it meant her own “New Heights” interview was no longer the most-watched. She joked that it felt “weird” to even say the name of “the other podcast.” With a big smile, she added, “I don’t think it’s even close and I love that for me.” She had been a guest on her husband Jason’s show twice before, in September 2023 and December 2024.
Kylie recorded her thoughts just one day after it was confirmed that Swift, 35, would join her boyfriend Travis and his brother Jason on their popular show. “It’s very entertaining to watch the internet break,” Kylie quipped. “It’s literally crumbling. And I love it.” She was not just excited for Swift’s big reveals, but also curious to see how quickly her own viewing record would fall.
Swift’s much-anticipated debut on “New Heights” aired on Wednesday, August 13. She used the platform to announce her twelfth album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl.’ She also shared fresh details about her relationship with Travis, who is 35, and his family. The pop superstar spoke freely about her introduction to the NFL world. She also touched on regaining ownership of her master recordings. Swift even discussed how she spends her time after the ‘Eras Tour.’

Over 1.3 million fans tuned in to the live interview on Wednesday night. Near the end, Jason playfully hinted that his wife was about to be overtaken as the audience’s favorite guest. Taylor, with a chuckle, shot back, “Don’t do that.” She added, “If you guys leave Kylie out, you’re gonna regret it. You’ll see.”
Swift has certainly grown close to Travis’s family since they started dating in the summer of 2023. Yet, Kylie kept her lips sealed when asked if she had any inside scoop about ‘TS12,’ Taylor’s new album, beforehand. “Many [fans] and people in my real life have been asking if I knew this was going to happen,” Kylie shared on Thursday. “And to that I say…” She then jokingly invoked the Fifth Amendment.

On “New Heights,” Swift spoke more openly about her connections with the Kelce family. She shared her first impressions of Kylie and Jason. This meeting happened at a Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game in early 2024. Jason teased her, asking, “Did you know they told me to be good?”
Taylor’s reply painted a clear picture. “I didn’t know what they told you,” she said. “What I do remember is one of the first things I saw you say to Kylie was: ‘I was chugging beers with the Bills Mafia and I really want to go through one of the fire tables.’ And she replied: ‘Okay. Can we not do that right now?'” Swift then added, “Since then, I have heard her say exactly that to your 4-year-old daughter.”
Kylie and Jason are parents to four daughters. The pop star even gave them a special shout-out during the podcast. Swift shared that she’s become “very hooked on sourdough” since her tour ended. She’s even trying out a new recipe specifically for Travis’s nieces. “I’m trying this one for the girls, because they love everything rainbow: Funfetti sourdough,” she explained. “They are fascinated by sprinkles. We put sprinkles on everything when we are together.”
