Kvara as Diego: the first Neapolitan Khvicha is born

There are thousands of Neapolitans called Diego or Armandomost of them born in the 80s, and it is not necessary to explain the reason. Maradona’s nameswhich won the only two scudetti for the Italian team, are perfectly suited to the southern context, something that seemed more difficult for the new Azzurri idol, Kvaratskhelia. The winger has conquered the fans as soon as he arrived with an extraordinary performance: 14 goals and 16 assists in his first 31 games in the Partenopean team, which he came to as almost unknown.

Many saw it coming, and it has already happened: in these days the first child to bear the name of the Georgian has been born under Vesuvius. His name is Daniele Khvicha and the news immediately went viral in the Italian media.

His fatherborn in 1986, his name is Armando after Maradona and he wanted to repeat the gesture, explaining in ‘Spazio Napoli’ the reasons for his decision: “If it hadn’t been such a wonderful year, my son would only have been called Daniele, but my wife and I are huge Napoli fans and we wanted what is happening to last forever”.

Armando now has a couple more wishes left in a course that promises to be legendary: “I want to see Napoli be crowned champion and I dream of meeting Kvaratskhelia some day. Hopefully my father, who has already left us, can see the coming party through the eyes of Daniele Khvicha”.
