Kuwait’s Crown Prince dissolves parliament

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mashal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has announced to dissolve the parliament and hold early elections.

According to Arab media, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince addressing the nation said that the Emir of Kuwait Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad has decided to dissolve the parliament and hold new elections. The Crown Prince said that the royal family respects parliamentary traditions but in the country This step was necessary to end the ongoing political crisis.

He said that the final decision to correct the political scenario should be taken by the people themselves and they should choose their rightful representatives.

It should be noted that the Kuwaiti cabinet had resigned two months ago due to differences with the parliament and had also campaigned with other members for new elections in the country.
