According to the details, Kuwait work visa will be issued only if the qualification is similar to the profession. In this regard, the Public Authority for Manpower issued an important statement after the approval of the classification and qualification of professions in all sectors of the labor market. Is.

The spokesman said it would issue work permits to foreign workers only if their qualifications matched those of the professions for which they were being recruited.

Explaining the new mechanism to be implemented, Fahd al-Ajmi, Director, Capital Governance Labor Department, PAM, said that in order to ensure the highest productivity and work efficiency, if the qualifications of the workers do not match their professions, If they are being recruited for, then such workers will not be recruited from abroad.

He also noted that anyone recruited on a commercial entry visa would be allowed to transfer their visa only to the company that issued the commercial visa.

The transfer will be treated as a new work permit and will result in a deduction from the estimate of the number of foreign workers assigned to the company.

The transfer of the visa is also subject to the requirements of the profession as well as the worker obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and a copy of the entry visa (if any).

Al-Ajmi revealed that all procedures for obtaining or transferring visas are now fully automated (online) and do not require the presence of an employer.

He also pointed out that automated procedures have largely eliminated visa trading operations due to the need to complete all procedures through an automated procedure that requires only a small number of procedures. ۔

In addition, accurate and automated liaison with other government agencies allows employers or employees to complete procedures without having to visit multiple offices.

He added that the Public Authority for Manpower should expand the use of automated systems and the extensive cooperation between the Authority and other relevant government agencies, especially the Ministry of Health, Interior and Trade, Justice, Public Authority for Civil Information and others. Al-Ajmi also confirmed that the authority has issued instructions to bring in foreign workers from abroad as per the administrative circular (18/2021) issued by the director.

Accordingly, all companies wishing to obtain permits to bring in migrant workers from abroad will have to submit an application through the Automated Service (Ashal) and the Ministry of Health will approve these measures, including the approval of a vaccination certificate. Have to act
