According to the 2021 Global Wealth Report published by Swiss Credit, Kuwait is the second richest country in the Gulf in terms of average wealth per capita by the end of 2020 after Qatar.
Kuwait’s average wealth jumped from 62 62,064 in 2000 to 9,129,890 in 2020, an increase of 109.3% in two decades.
Kuwait’s total wealth is 40,409 billion, which is 0.1% of the world’s total wealth in 2020, and the GDP per capita is 34,339.
According to a Credit Suisse report, Qatar ranks first in the Gulf region with an average per capita wealth of 14,146,730 and a total wealth of 35,352 billion.
Third is the United Arab Emirates with an average wealth of 11,115,476 and a total wealth of 9,930 billion.
