Kuwait announces ‘booster dose’

Kuwait City: Kuwait is on par with European countries in the fight against the global epidemic.

According to the details, the citizens of Kuwait who have received “Oxford AstraZeneca” doses of the vaccine against codeine nineteen will be given “Pfizer” booster dose.

According to health sources, based on studies conducted by the relevant health authorities that guarantee the vaccine, it is safe and effective to give a third dose of Pfizer as a ‘booster’ to people who take two doses of AstraZeneca.

This is being done in most European countries, according to a report in the daily Al-Jarida.

Sources say those who received the “Oxford” vaccine more than six months ago will be given a Pfizer booster dose in November or December, which will make the immune system more effective against coronavirus.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health of Kuwait has announced the launch of a comprehensive field vaccination campaign for most parts of the country, which will provide its services to all groups who could not get vaccination or registration for any reason.

It may be recalled that last month, Kuwait’s Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah said that life in Kuwait has returned to normal. He asked the people what is the place in the country where you cannot go? Or where life has not returned to normal?

“We are one of the lucky few countries to return to normal life,” the Kuwaiti health minister said, stressing that life in the country was “going well” and that the vaccination process was still in its infancy. Running well and everything is available.
